The gift of perseverance
Positive momentum is desired.
Business growth, personal growth, victory, material wealth, marriage bliss, friendship solidarity, are the natural goals in life.
When the wind is at your back, vision is clear and the emotions are high.
But, the wind will shift.
The unexpected will happen, the hill will arise without warning, the friction will occur, the growth will turn, the darkness will come.
Clear vision will turn to doubt and confusion, even for the most steadfast.
The obstacle will arise, and the hidden gift is perseverance.
Perseverance produces dependence on others. Perseverance produces prayer. Perseverance teaches how to manage emotions. Perseverance produces resilience. Perseverance produces humility.
Life wisdom comes from perseverance.
The easy journey drives the ego but the journey of perseverance drives faith.
Faith is the gift that sustains no matter the journey.
Life has been described as walking down a dark path with a lantern. You can only see about 2 feet in front of you. However, when you turn around, the path is illuminated. You easily see how God sustained during those times when perseverance was required.
Never quit when the journey is uphill, as perseverance is a season. Walk steadily on the path knowing that the obstacle is the way.
Recognize the seasons of perseverance around you today and be an ear. You will need that ear someday.
