Execute daily
My favorite Nick Saban quote, “Even when you don’t feel like it, do the things you need to do today to achieve the desired outcome.”
The tendency is to focus on the outcome. The sales target, the ideal weight, the resolution, the position, the title, whatever outcome is desired becomes the myopic focus.
The risk is lack of execution, and, when the dust settles, we place the blame on someone or something.
Have the outcome predetermined and focus on the daily activities that will get you there.
Just execute daily.
It is your execution that will inspire others to be excellent.
