Create momentum
Momentum is created.
We live in a world of negatives.
When you wake up, before your feet hit the ground, your mind is bombarded with anxiety, things that aren’t right, economy uncertainties, company challenges, difficult comps, personal gaps, team chemistry issues, problems with children, family struggles.
The negativity is there for the taking. Pick your issue. This spark of negativity creates momentum the wrong way. And it builds, it spreads, it sucks others in. Before you know it, the team, the family, the company is moving in the wrong direction.
One act can flip the momentum switch.
Momentum begins with an individual. The word of encouragement is delivered, the play is made, the deal is closed, the job is done excellently. The quarterback walks in the huddle, looks at the eyes of his teammates, and confidently says, “we got this.” The attitudes flip. The hope, the possibilities come back into sight. The mountain doesn’t seem as tall. The spark erupts into a fire. The domino falls.
We will all fail. This is where we learn, grow, and teach. We will all have losses, gaps, and issues. There will be obstacles. If we allow it, our minds, our team, our company, our family will naturally live there. The team becomes fearful, takes less risks, moves into self-preservation mode.
But, an individual has the power to flip the switch, change the direction. The family, the team, the company, the world, needs that one domino that creates the positive energy, the sparks that flips the momentum switch, the one that has faith.
Impact others. Live generously.
