Comparisons
Comparisons are the root issue of discontentment.
Comparisons pull us to the belief that the grass should be greener. The journey should be easier. The marriage should be better. The title should be greater. My salary should be larger. My house should be bigger. My kids should be like those being glorified. Everything should be better than it is today.
Discontentment robs performance and relationships. It is impossible to steward well full of discontentment. Discontentment is never a solo sport, it impacts others.
Contentment flips the script, changes the game, refreshes the soul, renews the spirit, blesses others.
Contentment is a focus issue, a mental game. Quiet the noise in your mind, no phone, no social media, just you. When one steps inside their own circle, the recognition of what is versus what should be brings clarity. Perspective changes. Blessings are recognized, others are magnified.
The natural result of a life lived with contentment is a life positively impacting others.
Impact others. Live generously.
