When or why?

Are you focused on when or why?

The question of when is a critical one, a strategic question in your business and life in general.

When should you go, make the move? When should you change? When should you rest? When should you stop?

The answer of when is analyzed and analyzed, as we try to predict the unpredictable. We gather the facts and do our best to simulate the timing of when. We look for the perfect time.

The answer to the question of when can cause paralysis, because there is no perfect time.

I think most have a when question on their mind and, many times, we are missing the why, the ultimate question that needs to be answered.

The why is where the meaning and purpose is found. The why will provide the fuel need to make the when happen. It is the why that will ultimately provide fulfillment, not the when. The why is the reason we live.

If we pivot from the when focus to why, the fog is lifted and one is compelled to move, go, change, rest, stop. The when of course remains important, but pales in comparison to the importance your why.

The answer to your why, then living for your why, removes the paralysis of when.

“He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.” Viktor Frankl
