Drive Positivity

Zig Ziglar wrote that the last thing we should say to our kids before leaving them for the day is something positive and uplifting about them.

Today, we have the awesome opportunity to build someone up, change another’s mindset, provide momentum and fuel for the day.

The greatest missed opportunities are the simple, daily interactions that never happen.

The mention of the job well done, never said, text never sent, note not written. The lack of appreciation for the person or the team. The apologies left silent. The relationships with spouses or friends that are quietly shelved day after day. The time not spent with the kids, maybe the person you didn’t visit or call until it was too late. The ball game or performance missed. As I type these, my mind is flooded with missed opportunities.

No doubt, relationships will be the biggest regret, missed opportunity in many lives. The lack of daily investments add up.

We all get to start fresh today. Pause and invest in relationships.

Relationships are greater than [fill in the blank].
