Focus on Others
Impact others to radically change your life.
A natural tendency today will be to focus on oneself.
My tasks, my goals, my desires. How do I successfully manage my career? How do I position myself internally? How do I increase my wealth? How do I make my voice be heard? How do I gain equity in the organization?
Change the question today.
How do I impact others?
As a leader of people, make every decision with others in mind. Step back and pave the way for others to be successful, put on a pedestal. If I am an analyst, serve my team with excellence. Put others in the spotlight to achieve great things. As a dad, rather than living vicariously through my kids, find the intersection of their desires and talents and foster the growth, let them go. Let your life revolve around your spouse today.
Encourage, build up, provide momentum, empower, applaud, cry, let others interrupt, radically serve.
Life sometimes fools us into thinking we are in a race to achieve great things for ourselves. However, an impactful legacy can be heard through the stories of how one positively impacted the lives of others.
When people work for others, a unified company is built, a team culture blossoms, a family is together.
“You can have everything in life that you want if you just help enough other people get what they want.” Zig Ziglar
Scripture: John 13:1-17
