Be the encourager.

“A lot of people have gone further than they thought they could because someone else thought they could.” — Zig Ziglar

You never fully realize the gift of an encourager until you have one in your own life.

That person that always finds a path to hope. When the seas are choppy and the sky is dark, the one that can find reason to believe.

I was blessed to have one in my life.

One who pushed me to be the best version of myself. The one who challenged me to have disciplines in my life that make me a better human. As we ran through the woods at 5am as part of his workout plan, the one who would whisper in my ear, “you got this.” The one that was always my first call when the water was rough. He made a substantial difference in my life.

In a world where the speed of life causes many to live in silos, holding onto pressure internally, an encourager offers pressure relief.

People will rise to the level of your belief in them.

Believe in someone and let it be known.

Be the one today that drops the email, the text, the word of encouragement. Your spouse, your child, your teammates, your boss need to hear it.

And, mysteriously, offering encouragement brings great joy to the giver. You’ll walk away with a bounce in your step.

Impact others. Live generously.
