Grace always wins
The journey of life is composed of a perpetual stream of battles, sometimes daily, sometimes seasonal.
Events, emotions, relationships, family, and business all contribute to major joy in life, but also constant friction. The belief that life’s journey will be down easy street is fiction. In fact, the sea is rarely calm in all areas of life or for extended periods of time.
Although we have daily battles, the war has been won. This was the purpose of the cross. The curtain was split in two giving us a direct relationship to unending peace through Jesus. Scripture continually reminds us that the war has been won, and security comes from knowing the war is over.
But, strangely, even though the war has been won, the battles will continue to rage.
Events occur that will rock your world, causing you to ask, “where is God?” Emotions will rage causing quick actions and losing control of your tongue. Job and family difficulties will wreak havoc on your mind. There will be seasons of peace, for sure, but battles will be perpetual.
There is an author of the battles that desires to wreck, not only your soul, but your world. There is a spirit maneuvering around, placing mental obstacles in your path, causing you to think that the lost battle makes you a failure, putting you in a defensive position.
Recognize the enemy and get offensive.
Be a faithful steward of the grace that has been given to you.
Grace is the answer.
Jesus is the author of grace, and grace ALWAYS wins the battle. Christ gave you undeserved grace at the cross. You must give undeserved grace to yourself. You must give undeserved grace to others.
A life of grace is the only way to victorious living. The play has been written, and all we have to do is run the play.
When grace flows freely the mind is cleared and battles are won. View every situation through the lens of grace.
For the battle that has been raging, end it by giving grace today. For the battle that was lost yesterday, put it to rest by giving grace today. For the one that comes to mind, give grace today. For the one in the mirror, give grace today.
Victory of the mind and soul awaits.
Impact others. Live generously.
