Stewardship drives unity
Stewardship is defined as “the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one’s care.”
To be a good steward, one must recognize that everything they have is a gift.
If stewardship is lacking so is proactivity, personal accountability, focus, and creativity. Fear, paranoia, laziness, and self preservation reign.
However, when a steward walks in, pride walks out. Focus on number one is absent.
Stewardship naturally drives one to care for others, lift others up. Be it a job, a co-worker, a friend, a subordinate, a marriage, children, health, when one sees these as a gift, companies and others are impacted positively.
Stewardship forces personal accountability. Stewardship drives proactivity and creativity. Stewardship finds a way to clear obstacles. Stewardship ultimately brings fulfillment and peace.
And, when a group of stewards bands together, be it a company, a team, or a family, trust reigns. And, with trust a dynamic culture is built, unity is achieved, and mountains are moved.
Stewardship will create momentum in your life and others.
