How will you impact others in 2025?
With reflection, this question penetrates the soul. The answer to this question redirects goals, provides a why that offers fulfillment. Through this question, a legacy is built.
After a life of chasing the things of this world, Solomon called life meaningless. In his autobiography, he compares chasing material possessions, money, titles, power, and position to chasing the wind. These things end up meaningless, holding no value.
But, we all find ourselves chasing the wind at times. It is inevitable. Life’s puzzle seems to be that we attempt to find fulfillment in the things that don’t leave the legacy we desire.
The question of “how will you impact others” can flip the script. When the focus moves away from one’s life to others, things change. When service and stewardship enter the picture, the desire for personal glory leaves. Culture and relationships blossom. Legacies are built.
In 2025, I will be posting a daily writing from my 2025 Journal.
The desire is to provide a moment to reflect and refocus on how we are impacting others. Flip the script. Using wisdom gleaned from Scripture, my hope is for all to walk away encouraged, focused on impacting others.
