Blessings and Endurance

We will all go through seasons in our life. Times of blessing, where you feel grateful, joy, happiness, unbelievable excitement. Times of endurance, where you have to grind, bear down, cry, struggle through each moment.

Perspective is vital for unity. For each time you are in a season of blessing, there are those around you in seasons of endurance. To recognize the seasons of others is to love as Christ.

Do you find yourself in a season of blessing? Thank God, as from Him all blessings flow. Enjoy the moment, and praise Him.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

But recognize, outside of the eternal gift, all blessings are temporary. Look around, and you will see those on the other end of the spectrum. Those that are enduring. Those that need encouragement, hope that can only come from Him. Use your season of blessing to bless others. Let words of encouragement be at the tip of your tongue. Point them to God, the unlimited flow of hope.

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope. 5 May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had. Romans 15:4-5

Seasons of endurance are temporary, as well. So, if you are in that season of endurance, hold on to Him. God gives endurance and encouragement through His Word. Nothing else will satisfy the soul or provide eternal hope. Peace comes as you turn to Him.

Father, give me the maturity to recognize my season as temporary and keep my eyes on you.

Impact others. Live generously.
