Play the Next Play
Momentum continues day after day, building one direction or another.
The mistakes and bad decisions that happened yesterday haunt today’s thoughts. The “what if” scenario is replayed over and over in our minds.
Maybe the relationship is not where it needs to be. The family is struggling. The tank is empty.
The momentum is down and to the left, leaving one walking into the day defeated.
Grace is a momentum-swinging move.
We are often quick to give grace to others but take weight after weight onto our own shoulders.
A powerful move today is to give yourself grace.
“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
Give grace to yourself.
The next play starts today. Scripture:
Philippians 3:13-14
