Let values control your attitude
Let your values permeate the situation, don’t let the situation dictate your attitude.
Values drive attitude and action.
And, the values driven life creates a flywheel.
Cynicism, negativity, hopelessness, fear, and lack of confidence, birth the same traits in others.
Enthusiasm, positivity, excitement, hope, confidence, proactiveness, excellence give rise to similar attitudes.
Individual impact on others is inevitable. Good or bad, the flywheel will spin, creating momentum.
A consistent, values driven life will create positive momentum of the flywheel.
The impact of a values driven life influences more than title, money, power, or position.
The seasons change, storms come and go, and we have no control over either.
However, we do enter each day able to center ourselves on our values, allowing these to drive our attitudes and actions.
My family, my spouse, my children, my team, my co-workers, my company, my clients will be impacted by me today, either good or bad.
This is precisely why Zig Ziglar encouraged parents to let the last words before leaving the kids for the day be a positive statement.
Need to change a culture or a relationship? Personally, start the fly values wheel spinning. It works.
Impact others. Live generously.
